About Derrick Smith

Derrick Smith is Director of Information Technology for a registered investment advisor headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. He is responsible for the strategy, management, and security of Information Technology at the firm. Mr. Smith joined the organization in May 2018 through the acquisition of a Denver based registered investment advisor where during his 11 year tenure, he served as systems administrator, information technology manager, and infrastructure and security manager. Derrick worked previously as a consultant, systems administrator and network administrator at several organizations.
